Used as a blending component with Marsanne and Viognier since 1998, this is Tahbilk's first varietal release of Roussanne.The colour is light yellow to green. Lifted aromas of nectarine, herbal green tea and fragrant wild flowers, lime blossom comes to mind.
Palate is herbaceous, pear, citrus and a light drizzle of honey. Silky mouthfeel but without much elegance.
Taut, bracing acid kick from the get-go but then pulls up short.
